COLLECTION KILIMS The kilims presented in this chapter are old pieces. The colours used in the dyeing process are all vegetable, obtained by fermentation, which enables us to state that they were woven, at the latest, during the second half of the XIXème century, with some exceptions. The areas which they come from extend from the Balkans (Sarköy) to Turkey, the Caucasus and Iran. There would be so many things to say on each one of them that we had to stick to a short description (reference, origin, size and price).
